Longarm Quilting Services

Edge-to-Edge Quilting:  one continuous pattern over the entire surface of your quilt.  The price per square inch is 2.5 cents  for most designs.  Dense quilting designs are .03 cents per square inch. Quilting tops up to 120" wide. There is a $50 minimum charge per quilt. Price for thread is $2.00 per bobbin used.

When you send your quilt, the process will start.  I will measure your quilt, load it onto my longarm quilting machine (Kathleen, named after my mom), get your chosen design ready on my Bernina Q24, (Ida, named after my grandmother)  and quilt your masterpiece.

Quilt Prep

1.  Please make sure batting and backing are larger than your quilt top by 4" on all sides. Making them 8" wider and 8" taller than your quilt top.

2.  Clip all loose threads. Remove all from quilt top.

3.  Square up your backing fabric so there are no uneven edges.  Remove all selvages. If pieced backing, press seams open.

4.  Please freshly press your quilt top, backing and binding.  Fold each, including batting,  separately and place in a plastic bag before placing into your shipping box.  Send in your quilt via your most trusted shipping company.  Remember to insure your quilt if you are worried about it getting lost.  I will have it back on the road to you, with tracking and insurance, up to a $100 value, within 3 weeks or less. Fees may be required for additional insurance over $100.

5. Label the quilt top, backing and binding (if I'm attaching the binding) clearly with a note.
