I grew up in rural Ohio on a 325 acre farm.  My parents raised crops, cows, pigs, chickens and children.  As a young girl my mother taught me to sew, from then on I was hooked.  She was an avid sewer, making our clothes when we were younger and the piles of quilts we slept under that held us tightly in place till morning. 

Skip ahead to the present.  My husband, Andy, of 32 years and I are empty nesters.  We raised 3 children who are now married with families of their own.  I found myself looking for something to fill my days.  I decided that I would take the time to make each of my children, their spouses and our grandchildren each a quilt of their very own.  Each made with love.  

With each one I finished I couldn't wait to create the next one.  At the time I was taking my quilt tops to be longarm quilted by someone who did a wonderful job.  However, I soon found that I really wanted to be apart of the whole process, start to finish.  So, here I now am, a longarm quilter, and loving every minute.
